Outreach

Outreach Initiative

The mission of the Geospatial Revolution Project is to expand public knowledge about the history, applications, related privacy and legal issues, and the potential future of location-based technologies.

The proposed outreach initiative will build upon the interest raised by the release of each episode to engage the public in conversations about how geospatial information can be used in various ways to address local challenges.

Outreach initiatives around our new production model will focus on digital learning tools for K-12 education and media content that will support work force development, local government and policy applications, civic engagement, and public understanding of this complex issue.
